No Longer Human: Love is a But Memory for Now

aoi bungaku 04 yozo & naked women memories

It’s caught up with me. I tried to do too much taking on NaNoWriMo and it took all my will to write. Not the ideas part, I’ll always like that. But the work part.

I still have completed drafts, and I will publish those someday. But for now I need to give things a rest. I apologize not completing the shows this season, especially Aoi Bungaku.

But as Yozo declares how he found a new world even as he comes to accept that he is no longer human, I also come to terms with my own limitations as a writer.

With all likelihood, I’ll be back. I did mention how something like this isn’t improbable. I do have those completed posts, including at least one for a new site made with other bloggers.

Well, you deserve a break. Enjoy and good luck with all your ventures!

  2. sadakups says:

Taking a break is something that both me and you need right now as I am horribly busy. I’m thankful that there aren’t much good anime titles to watch for the fall season so I don’t have to rush myself into catching up. So yeah, go take one. As long as you’ll still write for this blog in the near future, it’s all good.

  3. Baka-Raptor says:

You’ll be back before you know it. I know because I can see the future.

  4. Shinmaru says:

Hope your rest does you good! I might need one myself soon — still figuring out my own blogging/anime watching limits while balancing a solid work schedule, haha.

  5. kadian1364 says:

Take whatever time you need. Blogging is awesome recreation, but rest, relaxation, and responsibilities have priority as well. In the mean time, we will remain ever vigilant!

  6. 2DT says:

Enjoy your time off. I’ll be waiting.

  7. gaguri says:

Enjoy your hiatus. I remember my first, and I came crawling back within one month xD.

  8. Altaire says:

Will be waiting for your return, kuya.

  9. We Love Remember, FOREVER!!! :3

  10. mpruess says:

I’m more break than play. Don’t even think about challenging me.

  11. Rakuen says:

I hope this doesn’t stop you from going to the party. I’ll wait for your safe return, dear pilot.

  12. Owen S says:

“No longer human”!? More like be human. See you on the other side. 😀

  13. B-Mecha says:

It is always ok to rest. You spent a lot of effort writing quality posts so u deserve a good rest! I will wait for you!

  14. glothelegend says:

What? Just when I decided to finally subscribed?

Oh well, breaks are always needed here and there. Enjoy.

  15. ScrambledEggs says:

Well I for one will keenly miss your posts. I can always count on an interesting and insightful read when you write.

  16. I was always amazed at how you could keep up your pace. I know you got a lot on your plate & big things awaiting you in the future. Wish you all the best. And I won’t stop popping in, even if it’s just to read old posts. Matter of fact, I’ll try to pick up your slack. Who am I kidding? That’s not gonna happen. 😛

  17. The Longcoat says:

Don’t worry about it GL. The pace you have been keeping makes you the Determinator of anime bloggers. I suspect that adopting an easier pace to manage will make your posts better in the long run since you won’t have so much stress trying to push posts out the door.

I must admit my own Guilty Pleasure, in that I stayed away from the blogosphere for 3 weeks while I gamed my heart out on Discovery Freelancer Role-play server. (so much fun for free) Now I’m trying to get back into the swing of things, and I find that uploading images for my blog takes FOREVER. I have to figure out how to alter my episodic style to use less images.

Have fun in the Real World and stay jazzy.

  18. Enjoy the break. I know I’m enjoying mine. Sooner or later I know something will inspire us to write again.

  19. Hirobot says:

Nano is hard. I envy people who can crank out an entire novel in a month. Good luck!

  20. ayame says:

I wonder, now that it appears that that break is over, when will he have the pleasure to read more about the Aoi Bunkaku series?

    • Unfortunately, this was 3 years ago. I no longer have copies of the episodes and I’m not really itching to rewatch. Thank you for taking time to read and comment though. I really appreciate it.
